The Fremantle project marked a milestone in Australian energy innovation. At its core was the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system, which efficiently generated electricity while capturing heat, significantly reducing energy wastage. The Ground Source Heat Pump utilised the earth's stable temperature for heating and cooling, further enhancing the building's energy efficiency. A key component of this project was the Shallow Aquifer Geothermal Bore System, a novel approach in Australia. This system played a critical role in maximising the efficiency and effectiveness of the building's heating and cooling capabilities.
The project's integration of these technologies was not only a first in Australia but also a major step forward in sustainable energy use. It significantly cut down on energy consumption and operational costs, showcasing Evo Energy Technologies' ability to pioneer advanced, eco-friendly energy solutions.
Receiving the 2014 Splash Environmental Award was a testament to the project's success and its contribution to environmental sustainability. This recognition underscores our commitment to leading the way in energy innovation and sustainable practices.
