Evo Energy Technologies has completed commissioning of Acu-Tech Piping Systems’ cogeneration system at its Redbank facility in Queensland, supporting the site’s need for reliable, high-efficiency onsite power.
The completed system includes two fully operational 2G Avus 1000 Plus CHP engines, designed to provide dependable energy for Acu-Tech’s large-scale HDPE pipe manufacturing operations.
With limited grid availability at the site, onsite generation was a practical long-term solution. The new system helps reduce reliance on diesel generation, improve energy resilience, and provide greater cost certainty as fuel and electricity costs continue to rise.
For Australian manufacturers, projects like this show how cogeneration can support more stable, efficient, and lower-emission operations, particularly for facilities with high energy demand or grid constraints.
Delivered by Evo Energy Technologies, the Redbank project demonstrates the value of proven CHP technology in helping industrial sites take greater control of their energy future.
