Supporting Safe and Reliable Biogas Management at Asahi Yatala

Evo Energy Technologies is delivering a new biogas infrastructure project for Asahi at its Yatala facility in Queensland, supporting the site’s broader gas management and process safety systems.

As one of Australia’s largest beverage manufacturers, Asahi operates large-scale production facilities that manage a range of process by-products as part of everyday operations. At sites where biogas is generated onsite, safe storage, controlled handling, and compliant management are essential to maintaining stable operations.

The project scope includes a biogas flare and gas storage system designed to support the controlled management of biogas when required. The new system will allow gas generated onsite to be stored safely and managed in a regulated manner, helping support operational continuity and safety requirements.

For large manufacturing environments, effective gas management plays an important role in broader process infrastructure. Biogas storage and flaring systems provide a practical way to manage variable gas production while supporting compliance, reliability, and safe day-to-day operations.

Once complete, the Yatala project will strengthen Asahi’s onsite biogas management capability, with Evo Energy Technologies providing infrastructure designed for safe, reliable, and controlled gas handling.
